The
West gate at Connecticut College, though it is located in the same place,
is visually very different in this modern photograph. Knowlton House on the
right of the driveway, and New London Hall in the rear center exist in both
photos, however, the addition of Harkness Chapel, and the growth of many trees
has drastically altered the 1922 view.
